Leading Illinois Personal Injury Attorney Antonio M. Romanucci Appointed as Vice-Chairperson of the Illinois Supreme Court Rules Committee

Principal & Partner at Romanucci & Blandin advances leadership role with Illinois Supreme Court

The State of Illinois Supreme Court reappointed personal injury attorney, Antonio M. Romanucci, as Vice-Chairperson to its Rules Committee, effective January 1, 2017. Founding principal and partner at Romanucci & Blandin, LLC, Antonio has served on the state’s rules committee since December 2011. Along with 15 committee members, Antonio is responsible for analyzing and recommending new Supreme Court rules or modifications to existing rules which govern all proceedings in trial court.

“Serving on a committee with such well-regarded attorneys, judges and educators is a true honor,” said Mr. Romanucci. “I am looking forward to the opportunity to assist in the rule-making process while also looking for ways to improve the Court rules for the benefit of Illinois and its residents.”

Mr. Romanucci’s decisions and advisement as Vice-Chairperson of the Supreme Court Rules Committee will directly impact trial attorneys, as they provide the guidelines for how lawyers behave in court. Moreover, the committee decisions and recommendations directly benefit and protect the rights of litigating members of the public.
