Kim Suhr Named to “Listen to Your Mother” Cast

Director of Red Oak Writing and short story writer, Kim Hlavacek Suhr ’87 was selected as a cast member of for the final “Listen to Your Mother” performance in Milwaukee. Her essay, “Earthy Crunchy Granola Head,” comes from her collection, Maybe I’ll Learn: Snapshots of a Novice Mom. Kim supports other writers at Red Oak through leading Roundtable critique groups, teaching classes and providing individual feedback on manuscripts. That English degree came in handy after all!
