The Wisconsin Alumni Association: Twin Cities Chapter is a Minnesota-based 501(c)(3) non-profit and volunteer-run organization comprised of University of Wisconsin-Madison alumni, family, and friends living in the Twin Cities area. With over 17,000 UW-Madison alumni living in the Twin Cities, the Chapter is one of the largest and most active in the country.
One of the primary purposes of the Chapter is to provide, through a match by the UW Foundation, over $20,000 in tuition-based scholarships annually to Twin Cities-area high school graduates who will be attending UW-Madison. Another one of the Chapter’s main objectives is to host a variety of reasonably-priced events throughout the year enabling UW-Madison alumni, family, and friends of all ages, backgrounds, and goals to mingle in that famous Badger way. All of our events offer socializing as well as casual networking opportunities for you to cultivate relationships with other alums that may last a few minutes or a lifetime. All profits from our events go towards our scholarship fund. We charge no local membership fees; however, WAA members may receive discounts and advance notice for some events.
