MADISON, Wis. — The 10th annual Homecoming Golf Outing at University Ridge will take place on Sunday, Sept. 30, with proceeds benefiting the Dean of Students Crisis Fund and student scholarships at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
The 18-hole scramble begins at 8:30 a.m. Entry fees are $85 for UW-Madison students, $135 for nonstudents, or $500 per foursome. Participants are encouraged to register at
uwalumni.com/homecoming until Sept. 28 at 4 p.m. The package includes a complimentary golf cart, practice golf balls, official event golf shirt, cookout lunch and a photo with Bucky Badger!
University Ridge Golf Course, which has been named the seventh-best golf course in Wisconsin by
Golf Week magazine, offers a spectacular view of gently sloping terrain as well as 6,888 yards of championship challenge.
The Dean of Students Crisis Fund is an emergency assistance program for students with an unexpected financial crisis whose academic continuation can be ensured by a small, short loan. UW-Madison’s Homecoming Committee has contributed more than $100,000 to the fund since 1989.
The UW Homecoming Committee is a nonprofit, student-run organization sponsored by the
Wisconsin Alumni Association. It is a committee of 60 volunteer members who plan a week of exciting Homecoming events for students, alumni and the Madison community. All Homecoming week proceeds are donated to the Dean of Students Crisis Fund and student scholarships.
